Holland Dance Festival has a partnership with the dance programs of Codarts Rotterdam. We regularly give master classes to the teacher training and offer trainees the opportunity to get acquainted with the target groups at our classes. We will soon start a short series of 4 classes on Wednesday evenings.
During the modern/improvisation classes we will work on exploring and discovering the body. Through improvisation you will explore your own way of moving. In addition, there will be room to create dance by yourself and with each other.
Aviva Thijssen, fourth-year student at Codarts Dance Academy in Rotterdam, will teach four modern/improvisation classes in Korzo Theater. For six months she is going to study improvisation for her Bachelor of Dance in Education study. Aviva will work with different audiences to investigate which ways of improvisation are similar and which are different. She will use the lessons for her final research, with which she will also partly graduate.

Cost
The cost for an hour and a half lesson is €5.00. A total price of €20,00 for 4 lessons. There is also the possibility to use the Stork discount, then you pay €10,00 for the whole series of lessons.
For the continuity of the lessons and the research it is nice if you can attend most of the lessons (preferably all of them).
